This is the classic chain escape as used by escape artists and magicians around the world.
The magician asks a spectator to inspect a chain and can even lock up their wrists to prove that it is impossible to get free.
Next the spectator locks up the magicians wrists with the chain and with a padlock. The magician is undoubtedly tied up very firmly and tightly. Now the magician turns his back for a moment. When he turns around again he is completely free from the chains!
This is great for small stages, parlour, and even close-up.
